The story of our house Having fallen in love with the Essaouira region in 1998, and more particularly with Sidi Kaouki, we finally settled here in 2003. In search of a change of scenery and authenticity, we imagined Tigmi Iguidi as an ecological house, self-sufficient in water and electricity, built respecting local know-how. Located 800 meters from the ocean and the village of Sidi Kaouki, and about twenty minutes from Essaouira, the house was entirely made with traditional Moroccan materials, all with a simple idea: to live in harmony with Nature… and leave it alone. Today A welcoming house with six separate bedrooms, verdant terraces, a swimming pool for guilt-free relaxation, and a beautiful 70 m² wooden room for stretching the body… and mind, through yoga and meditation. Perfect for group stays or for those seeking solitude in good company. On one side, the ocean and its miles of fine sand for surfing, sliding, fishing, or simply admiring the waves. On the other, the countryside and its paths for hiking, cycling, horseback riding, or even camel riding — yes, really!
